Introduction
Learning in and about peer groups is an introductory pedagogical online course for university teachers. It focuses on the possibilities of working with peers in small groups in order to enhance learning. The idea of small groups is a form of social and collaborative learning, which is grounded in student-centered learning. The students have an active role in their own learning processes. The goal is to learn together, share the thoughts and ideas, open up new ideas of the learning subject, as well as support one another in the learning process. In this course the aim is to learn the basic ideas of learning in peer groups and the elements that need to be considered when utilizing the groups in learning processes.
