UNIPS (University Pedagogical Support) learning solution is based on small online modules. Most of the modules are about the basic concepts, theories and practises about teaching and learning in higher education. Some of the modules aim to support you to plan your teaching and there are modules about more spesific topics like working life skills.
More modules will be published and there will be topics like "teaching multicultural groups" and "supporting students to learn scientific thinking skills". In the beginning of year 2019 almost 700 study credits has been accomplished in UNIPS environment. There are two optional ways to study the modules:
1. SELF-STUDY: We want to offer some pedagogical support for everyone and all visitors are welcome to study the materials of the modules independently. You can concentrate on the topics that are most beneficial for you at the moment or study all the materials in free order. This option doesn´t accumulate study credits.
2. GUIDED STUDY: Teachers and Doctoral Candidates of UNIPS-partner Universities in Finland are able to take small online courses to get study credits. Open the intranet-link of your own University to find information about the guided study possibilities: University of Turku, University of Jyväskylä, Tampere University, Lappeenranta University of technology, University of Eastern Finland, University of Oulu, Aalto University and Hanken School of Economics.
